We’re looking forward to three days of displays, exhibitions, products, art, food and live music. Bring the family for a great day out.
2, 3 & 4 October 2018: 3 great days filled with exhibits to help grow your business, farm machinery demonstrations, livestock, tillage and cropping demonstration, ewe trials, great food, kid’s activities, recreation and leisure activities plus much more. More information to come.
Public entry times: 8.30am – 5.00pm
No dogs permitted: No dogs are permitted. Exceptions may be made for Personal assistance and working display dogs.
Jemma Beech will be performing all three days of the 2017 Elmore Field Days. At just 24 years of age, Jemma has a big love for playing country music. She has attended the iconic Tamworth Country Music Festival. She has also recently toured with the Sunny Cowgirls as their support act.
5,800 square metres of undercover space showcasing a great variety of exhibits from machinery to alternative energy, education facilities to construction, motor vehicles to professional services and much, much more.
Shearing Shed Displays
You can find all the latest information and tips on; Wool handling, Shearing and Pressing. Also, you cannot miss the Shearing Teams Ewes for the Future Trial every day at 9.30am, 10.45am, 1.30pm & 2.45pm
Find out about new industry biosecurity changes: Hear about industy’s changes to farm biosecurity requirements, the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program, and what they mean for you as a livestock producer.
Presentations are daily at 10am and 11am in the Shearing Shed.
Ag Art Wear Parades
Held daily at 11.00am and 2.00pm. The Final will be held at 2.00pm on Thursday in the Auditorium
Heritage Draught Horse Club- Demonstrations
Take a step back in time and see how faming was done many many years ago. Various demonstrations will be conducted. More information to come.
The George Holmberg Pavilion houses the General Interest Area of indoor sites and marquee sites along the exterior walls of the pavilion. Exhibitors demonstrate commercial goods, cottage industry, handcrafts and clothing products.
Also there will be a dedicated area in which exhibitors who utilise their own or locally made produce and products can showcase their gourmet foods & wines.
Recreation & Leisure Area
Situated between two water features the dedicated avenue hosts recreation and leisure industry businesses. Exhibits this year include boating, camping, fishing, clothing and much more.
This year there are many new exciting exhibitors in this area, a must see destination.
Not only will there be one jumping castle at the Field Days, there will be two this year. Head to the Bunnings and Bendigo Marketplace sites.
Thanks to the Chefstoolbox, there will be cooking demonstrations located in the Auditorium. Tuesday 3.00pm-3.30pm Wednesday 3.00-3.30pm
Quirky Tales with Narelle Stone
Story time & fun for children
Narelle is one of Victoria’s favourite librarians and an amateur actor who delights in entertaining children. Narelle will be performing in the auditorium during the field days.
You can catch Narelle performing daily at 12.30pm.
Jeroki First Aid Training:
In the Auditorium daily 12pm- 12.30pm.
Tuesday: Family Health and First Aid. Topics discussed will include fevers, gastro, bronchiolitis, burns and croup.
Wednesday: CPR and AED Demonstration. This will include a demonstration of CPR on adults, children and infants. How to use an AED will also be part of the demonstration.
Thursday: How to treat snake bites, anaphylaxis and asthma. This will include practical demonstrations of how to apply a pressure immobilization bandage in the event of a snake bite, how to use an epipen in the event of anaphylaxis, and how to administer ventolin in the event of an asthma attack.
Vintage Tractor Parade:
Lockington & District Heritage Centre proudly display restored and unrestored vintage tractors, including Bulldog and Massey Harris. On Display at site 296B. Parades held at 2pm daily
Paint a Pot & Wood Craft:
Perfect for school holidays, so make sure you bring the kids along. All childrens activities are free.
New to the 2017 Elmore Field Days, face painting. Perfect for school holidays.
Kids keep your eye out to get your balloons twisted, he will be roving around the site this year.
