Boom floating (for machines without self levelling)

The Boom Floating system releases the lift cylinder so that the boom moves freely upwards from the position where it is when boom floating is switched on, allowing the attachment to follow the contours of the ground.

Boom floating (for machines with self levelling)

The Boom Floating system can also be installed on machines with boom self levelling. On the Avant 800 series loader, boom floating is standard. The boom floating valve bypasses boom self levelling, which means that boom self levelling doesn’t work when boom floating is switched on.
